it would be nice if all marhalls could try to recruit from where they work. We have at least 4 new marshalls from our work, and Martin is working on them to try and get them excited about it.

yes, somewhere. We have a couple of new recruits for the first meeting. \it would be nice if they were trained at least, on the flags.

rider of the day? The racing was phenominal at the weekend. Well done to all the racers, and a special thank you from Portland School for children with learning difficulties to the marshals who donated the £10 they got paid for using their dinner time to help with the sidecars.

Hi all,just a quick word to say thanks to all the riders for the great racing at the weekend.praise must also go to the riders who fell for the way they responded to instructions from the marshals no one got stroppy or upset and from a personal point it was nice to see the same lads even helping to recover thier own machines.i hope no one suffered to badly and will be out there at E/Fortune to entertain once more.

hi Kev,you would be welcome to marshal for us any time you liked , i believe 1 volunteer is better than 10 conscripted men.Lyndsay is doin well since his unfortunate heart attack,i spoke to him on sunday and hes off to Egypt for some well earned r"n"r.We are always talkin to Croft about ways to improve things for the marshals but you probably know how hard it is to deal with a company who prefers cars to bikes !! p.s i always stick up for the girls !! ha ha

hi stu , kev again ,sorry cant help with marshalling as much as i like to though i have marshalled before under pete smith for a couple of seasons.if things went tits up with the racing i would be pleased to help out.hows the marshall that had the problem at hawthorn last year ,hope he is ok . just another bit grunt but how about a portaloo for the lads n lasses at tower as there is sometimes a couple of lasses there.GOD!!!! stickin up for the girls now...
