Just to let you all know some of the marshals from Railway bend and I stopped into the ERI to see Rob yesterday. To say that he is remarkably un-injured is putting it mildly. He is still in quite a lot of pain with his shoulder but they are hoping that he will get out after a week. Very lucky lad after what happened. I was also able to present his parents with the cheque from the winning club in the inter-club challenge, that was Melville btw lol. For those who have not heard it was decided by both clubs that the prize fund from the inter-club challenge be given to Rob' parents to help with travel costs (8 hour round trip for them) etc rather than given to either clubs chosen charity as it was felt that this was a more worthy and close to home cause. If I get any more info I will let you know.

So pleased Rob is not as badly injured as initally thought and how kind of you and the other marshals to visit him.
And a special thanks to the Melville club for donating their winnings from the inter-club challenge to such a worthy cause - such a kind gesture that I can assure you will be much appreciated by Rob and his family.

Thankfully Rob is recovering well but still has a long way to go to be fully fit . He has taken a few steps today for the first time however he is still concussed but he continues to make improvements every day.
